Beach Girl WIP

As the last project of the semester, I have to choose an old drawing and create a background for it. I liked some of the quick sketches we did near the beginning of the semester, so I narrowed it down to a couple of those. This one won out in the brainstorming process, where I tried to come up with scenarios the characters could be in with their poses (my bf helped a lot with this).


Ended up drawing the girl (originally had blank features like a mannequin) like Yoshi, and put her at a beach since it's almost summer (:
